Within our multidisciplinary teams, you are constantly working on optimizing processes by means of the latest data applications and techniques. In this way, you create value for both our customers and our internal products.

Some of the topics our data scientists have worked on over the past year include:
- Building forecasting models to predict the optimal price and stocks
- Developing a control channel and an accompanying dashboard to provide insights into financial processes
- Building an optimization model for a Dutch agricultural player to help optimize the greenhouse energy costs

You are responsible for
- Guide customers on their data journey and in their digital transformation;
- Collaborate with customer’s domain experts to get to the bottom of the problem in order to arrive at the best solution;
- Apply state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to practical problems to create value and optimize processes;
- Collaborate with colleagues to build, train, and deploy production-ready algorithms;
- Help develop and deliver training to transfer the developed data science solution to the client end-users.

You are

You have
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant industry work experience, preferably in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, or a related field;
- Fluency in one or more scripting languages: e.g. Python, R;
- Strong track record in applying (un)supervised machine learning techniques and/or time series forecasting and/or optimization algotrihms to drive business impact;
- Understanding of operations research;
- Experience with Git and version control;
- Experience with querying languages like SQL;
- Knowledge of the mathematics behind machine learning models and the ability to explain these complex matters in an understandable manner;
- Comfortable in a client-facing role with the ambition to lead teams;
- Project management skills;
- You communicate easily in Dutch and English (both written and spoken);
- Drive to learn more.
It is a bonus if you have:
- Experience with cloud computing (Microsoft Azure, AWS);
- Experience with deploying and maintaining data science solutions in production;
- Knowledge of process mining.
