You are responsible for
- Guide a diverse group of customers on their data journey and in their digital transformation;
- Together with the customer’s domain experts get to the bottom of the problem in order to arrive at the best solution;
- Build working data science solutions instead of delivering reports;
- Apply algorithms to practical problems to create value and optimize processes;
- Researching and implementing cutting edge machine learning algorithms;
- Collaborate with colleagues to code, train, and deploy production-ready algorithms;
- Provide training to transfer the developed data science solution to the end-users;
- Help to determine the direction of machine learning and artificial intelligence within Bright Cape

You have
- Completed technical academic degree, preferably Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, or a related field;
- Programming experience in one or more scripting languages: e.g. Python, R;
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence, (un)supervised learning, and/or computer vision;
- Experience with Git and version control;
- Knowledge of the mathematics behind machine learning models and also the ability to explain these complex matters in a simple way;
- An entrepreneur with a commercial attitude;
- Project management skills;
- Someone who quickly masters new processes and complex subjects;
- Drive to learn more
It is a bonus if you have:
- Experience with querying languages like SQL;
- Experience with cloud computing (Microsoft Azure, AWS);
- Experience with deploying and maintaining data science solutions in production
- Knowledge of process mining
