Marketing en Communicatie specialist


As a Marketing and Communication Specialist ("Demand Generation") your goal is to generate Marketing Qualified Leads. You know how to interest, create attraction and maintain involvement in order to eventually move into action. In consultation with management, team leaders and our consultants, you create a marketing calendar and you are also responsible for the execution of it. Based on the demand generation calendar you have drawn up, you will work on the development and implementation of concrete campaign plans. You are responsible for campaign management and you have a lot of coordination with your internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve the best result together. The performance of various operational marketing and communication activities are core activities. These are aimed at our visibility in the market and the creation of opportunities. You also actively participate in policy development in the field of lead generation.


  • You provide (independent) content for the various (owned) media channels, including website and social media.
  • You support management / sales / team leaders / consultants with drawing up communication tools and sales.
  • You coordinate and maintain contact with external parties regarding our chosen online proposition and strategy.
  • You coordinate, in consultation with management and team leads, the organization and follow-up of (digital) events.
  • You facilitate content driven marketing events and manage the rolling marketing agenda.
  • You are proactive in keeping Bright Cape up to date linked to your own news items and links to external news items that Bright Cape can use.
  • You participate in internal consultations with regard to determining the marketing and communication strategy and you think along in possible applications of the media channels.
  • You take note of relevant developments in the field (both internal and external) and try to use this knowledge for application in your work.
  • You are (jointly) responsible for the optimization and monitoring of the corporate identity and the marketing communication plan.
  • You coordinate and / or (co) organize marketing and communication related activities (trade fair visits, customer receptions, industry meetings and presentations). You also ensure that the correct follow-up is taken up and you monitor the results of the activities.
  • You are hands-on, you make the plans and implement them.

Your profile

  • Completed HBO education in Marketing Communication, Commercial Economics or Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing
  • At least 5 years of work experience
  • Affinity with consultancy and / or data science is an advantage
  • Up-to-date knowledge in the field of online and offline content marketing
  • Experience with SEO / SEA, Google Analytics and marketing automation tools
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign
  • A team player who dares to take initiative and is both creative and analytical
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English and both oral and written
